I was inspired thanks to an email today from someone I know who has the typical life paradigm. Which one would that be? Oh you know, the one where life is a struggle, life is stressful, life is hard, life is full of problems…
After explaining to me the latest “problem”, the email was finished off with the following quote:
”Oh you know how it is; it’s one problem after another.”
First of all, no I do not know how that is. Well to be fair and honest, I used to, some time ago - but not anymore.
And second of all, I cannot imagine not having any problems with that kind of a mindset.
I have heard that line from people many times before, but today the power of it really struck me.
What do you think a person saying or thinking that is declaring to the universe?
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
Matthew 7:7-8
That is the first thing that comes to my mind as I am in awe of the material and discoveries I make each day. Ever since I have become a seeker of the truth, the abundance of material that flows to me and through me has been astonishing.
My latest attraction for knowledge and truth has brought me to discover the latest venture going on, on our planet as we speak. In this New Age of awakening, at this time of the consciousness shift, there comes the movie for our times - “Time of the Sixth Sun - A Journey of Awakening“.
I invite you now to watch this powerful, ground breaking, awe-inspiring and spirit-moving trailer now (attached below) and read on for details about its release and content.
With millions of kids across the world heading back to school soon, will come homework, assignments, bullies, paper bag lunches, sleepless nights and - the anxious parent.
In recent times a new term has been put into use to identify parents who are constantly involved in their children’s growth and development and not in a positive way, but rather in a “hovering” type of way. These parents have been named “Helicopter Parents“.
With society increasing its pressures to raise “the perfect child“, it has been noted that these types of parents are on the rise and what is worse their controlling ways seem to be doing more harm then good where a child’s development is concerned.
From an enlightened perspective, a being cannot force their will upon another, even if it thinks that they are doing it out of love. Smothering another by living out its life for it is not in the best interest of the child and a lot of parents need to grasp that message for the benefit of their children, themselves and society as a whole.
Hence in this article, I want to share with you a list of “8 Back to School Resolutions for Parents“, which were written by Ken Haller, a pediatrician from the Saint Louis University. In addition to this I want to provide you with explanations of his tips and how to incorporate them on a practical level to maximize the benefits for you and your children.
