Yesterday, September 20, Esther and Jerry Hicks organized another one of their popular and very much sought after “A Day With Abraham” events.
If you recall, in the last post I told you that this was going to be my first chance to attend one of their events and how I was very excited. For more on this and the introduction to who is Abraham, see my previous post that fully explains this here.
The event was amazing to say the least and I think the fact that it was sold out says a lot about the quality of material, the value and relevance to people’s lives.
It was so good in fact that I decided that this week on Evolving Beings, I will focus on some of the lessons learned from Abraham and share with you some of the wisdom to not only empower you to live out the highest version of you, but also to understand a little better that we control this physical reality and thus anything is possible! The physical reality does not control us, as many people in our society think and as a result lead lives full of stress and suffering.
Hence today, I will just give you a general overview of the event and the messages from it.
Well it is exactly one week until my husband and I have a chance to experience Abraham Hicks for the first time live and needless to say we are both very excited!
If you are familiar with the work of Esther and Jerry Hicks, then no introduction is needed. If you are not, right about now, you are probably wondering who is Abraham Hicks?
Well that is a little hard to explain. Abraham is not one person, is not a “he” and is not actually able to be seen. Have I got your attention yet? Sounds spooky, I know - but if you get to know the whole story, you will understand that there is nothing spooky about it.
Abraham is a spiritual entity that Esther Hicks channels. Esther and Jerry Hicks have been involved in sharing wisdom and spiritual work for over 2 decades now. Each year they host numerous workshops, seminars and even cruises where the main goal is to empower people to take control of their own life.
So, since we enjoy the Abraham Hicks wisdom in books and audio seminars, and this event is coming to a city near us - we thought it would be great to go and experience it first hand.
In our hectic everyday life it is often so easy to lose sight of oneself and of the bigger picture of life.
We run around to work, to shop, to eat, to take care of this and that…run, run, run!
But stop - stop for a moment and look around you.
Have you seen the beautiful sky today? Have you enjoyed another’s smile?
Even though many of us feel that our life pushes and pulls on us constantly, it is actually not life, but we who keep doing the pushing and pulling. At any time it is within our control to do or not do something…even when we think it is a must.
So in today’s article I want to just relax with you, unwind and talk about why we feel we need all these “I have to’s” and how to slow down our lives a little from these and just enjoy a little more of the beauty of life, our world and our being.
