I was inspired thanks to an email today from someone I know who has the typical life paradigm. Which one would that be? Oh you know, the one where life is a struggle, life is stressful, life is hard, life is full of problems…
After explaining to me the latest “problem”, the email was finished off with the following quote:
”Oh you know how it is; it’s one problem after another.”
First of all, no I do not know how that is. Well to be fair and honest, I used to, some time ago - but not anymore.
And second of all, I cannot imagine not having any problems with that kind of a mindset.
I have heard that line from people many times before, but today the power of it really struck me.
What do you think a person saying or thinking that is declaring to the universe?

Last night in my very occasional hour of TV watching, I caught an episode of Oprah where she featured 3 comedians: Jim Carey, Carol Burnett and Steve Carell, who are the main voices in the newest Dr. Seuss movie, “Horton Hears a Who“.
I later found out that that episode was a re-run and so I will not re-explain or re-live the show’s highlights. If you have missed it, you can read a really well put together synopsis of it from IM with God.
What I do want to do is focus on the beautiful and profound statement Jim Carey gave Oprah when she asked him if he had a phrase or motto that he lived by. To this he replied “I Am Heaven“.
This statement moved me so deeply, as it did Oprah and probably the entire audience, as instantly the thought came to my head “He got it!”
Can you imagine what life would be like if everybody felt that way?
Can you imagine the impact a person can make on themselves, another or the entire planet living with a paradigm like that?
And so in this article I want to explore these questions and give you a little more insight on how good life actually can be, if we only allow it and on how we can make Heaven a real place for ourselves, right here, right now.

Okay so the work week is over and many of us are ready to start enjoying two nice days of the weekend. But before we get to the fun stuff, how did your week go?
If you are consciously creating your experiences and are aware of your thoughts and actions at least most of the time, then I am assuming your week was very good, perhaps even excellent just like every other day.
If you choose not to take responsibility for your own life and live by blaming others whether that is society, family, friends or coworkers, then I am assuming your week wasn’t too pleasant just like most other days.
In this article, I am not going to go through sharing with you practical applications for making yourself and your life more accountable and happy. We will leave that for another article.
In this article, I specifically want to talk to the first case scenario of us who generally speaking, live consciously, are accountable to ourselves and seek higher growth but are not quite yet masters at it.
Along our evolving journey of manifesting the highest versions of ourselves, naturally sometimes we slip and fall and lose sight of the bigger picture and purpose. It is not an issue of that being a “bad” thing, the issue is how we deal with those times when they arise.
Do we get better at dealing with them and thus shorten the duration of negative energy we generate or do we keep falling in just as deep each time life does not go our “so called” way?

I have recently received an email from an old friend from another country. I decided to write about it as I feel there is a lot to learn from the email not only for me but for others who also choose to read this post.
We so often go through life complaining and stressing about the tragedies and hardships we face. It is too bad that so few of us step back and step out of those futile activities and into some proactive and mindful actions.
Remember if you go through life on auto pilot, you may run into unforeseeable circumstances. If on the other hand you consciously steer your life, you have a much better chance of avoiding the unfavorable and attracting the desired outcomes.

Too many of us seem to be so down about numerous situations that happen to us. And whether this is you or someone close to you or not, it is never pleasant to suffer or watch others suffer. But guess what… they do not have to suffer, and neither do you.
We have all heard of the saying “It’s not the problem, but how you cope with it” right? So how have you incorporated this great truth into your life? The answer is that most of us haven’t. We probably read it on some inspirational poster or heard it from a friend at one time and thought “oh what nice advice, but so unrealistic”. Well here is me giving you my spin on this lovely statement in a little bit of a different way…
