A New Earth: Chapter 2 Webcast with Oprah and Eckhart Tolle

Last night, Monday March 10, Oprah hosted her second webcast with Eckhart Tolle.

In this webcast they explored the second chapter of his book A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose (Oprah’s Book Club, Selection 61), entitled “Ego: The Current State of Humanity”.

Even though this was only the second webcast, I still cannot get over the excitement I feel while participating in it and I suspect that feeling is going to carry over the next 8 weeks just as strongly.  It is just so magnificent to see this event taking place on our planet and to know that at this time over 2 million people have been exposed to it. If you are like me, you crave the change that our planet so desperately needs and it is so uplifting to see it in action.  Many people of course bring in their negativity and say that this won’t last once the hype of this event dies down in a few months. But I disagree, once you taste and experience this transformation in your own life, there is just no going back.

In the following article, I will summarize the topics and discussions of last night’s event along with my own thoughts and additions.
